Starting with the youngest player, players will decide to play, or pass. When you choose to play, you draw the top card of the deck and must play a card face-up in front of yourself.

When you pass, you are done for the round. Place all the cards in your hand on the bottom of the deck. After the first round have the next person seated clockwise start, so everyone has a chance to go first!

Players continue taking turns, choosing to play another card or to pass for the round. Once all players have passed, it is time to see who gains the black cat’s friendship.

Reveal the Paw card under the Black Cat card, then add it to the Black Cat card. For example, if the Black Cat card was 10 and a 9 card was revealed, the Black Cat value would be 19.

The player closest to the Black Cat value without going over wins the round and they gain a mouse token. If multiple players have the same value, they all get mouse tokens!
